In order to cut the power of the control panels in Fortnite, you must first find them and this is especially difficult since they are buried deep in the Command Cavern POI.

How to turn off power to Fortnite Control panels
There are a total of three Fortnite panels in Command Cavern, and since there’s no interaction sign, you’ll need to cut power to them all by hitting them with your harvesting tool or damaging them with another weapon.
They’re all hidden in hidden caves within the ventilation system, so follow our guide on how to get to each of their locations. We recommend you use these markers as a rough reference and then follow the instructions below to get to the exact locations.
1st location to Cut off power to Control Panel in Fortnite
For the first control panel in Fortnite, enter the Command Cavern through the main water tunnel on the north side of the base, then head west and go through the container area and tents. There, look for a vent to the north, just past a dumpster under a set of stairs.
Enter the vent and turn right. Then go through another vent on your right to find a Fortnite Control Panel next to a bathtub full of rubber ducks and a wall-mounted gold llama head.
2nd location to Cut off power to Control Panel in Fortnite
On the Southside of the base enter from the main street entrance head to the Command Cavern, then look for a door west of the stairs ahead that lead to a room full of bunk beds.
Once you’re in the first bay on the right, there’s a vent in the back, so walk past that and then open the vent on the left to reveal a Fortnite Control Panel along with a dartboard, DND game, and to find a console installed in the corner.
3rd location to Cut off power to Control Panel in Fortnite
For the 3rd control panel, run to the south street to Command Cavern, on the east side gap there go up to the stairs directly. Follow that path into the shaft.
